The first appointment will include a Diagnostic Assessment, which is the industry standard for initiating therapy. It is a thorough assessment of your symptoms as well as other factors which may be affecting the presenting problem. I’ll explain the whole process to you including what to expect in therapy going forward. I know it can be intimidating at first; my goal is to make it a smooth, easy, and inviting process.

If you choose to do online sessions, you will receive a link to connect with the video platform before our session begins. I use a secure, HIPAA compliant therapy platform to host my sessions.

That’s a great and important question with a less-than-straightforward answer. It generally depends on what your goals are. On average, it takes about three months, or 12 sessions, for clients to achieve progress toward their goals.
